2. 1999 Conference

Discussed all aspects of the conference. Everything is on schedule and progressing very well.

A draft outline of each day's events has been completed (from last conference call):

Day 1:

8am - noon Two workshops being offered. (optional)

noon - 1pm Registration

1pm - 5pm Keynote address, panel and break-out sessions

5pm Mixer and poster competition

6pm Dinner

7pm - 9pm Stu Hunter's Keynote Address

Day 2:

7:30 Continental breakfast

8am - noon sessions

noon - 1pm lunch

1pm - 5pm Keynote address, panel and break-out sessions

5:30 Dinner

8pm Social (possibly a magician)

Day 3:

8am - noon sessions

noon - 3pm tour with lunch

5 Student scholarships which include registration, hotel, and meals.

Focusing on filling contributed paper sessions.

Post conference meeting will be held that Friday at 4pm.

Discussed was advertising the conference via email.

3. 2000 Conference (Joint with SRC)

Need to receive letter confirming Boeing's contribution.

Andrew Booker is the co-chair from SRC.

Decided that the Bell Harbor Conference Center would be a good place to host the conference.

Hotel information will be provided, but no rooms will be blocked at a guaranteed price.

There is a good bus system to get from hotels to downtown.

Looking for a local business to donate printing.

Conference dates are tentatively May 22-25, 2000.

Theme: Statistical Applications for the New Millennium.

4. 2001 Conference

SEMATECH has agreed to host the 2001 Conference.

Will ask either TAMU or UT to serve as university host.

Motorola or AMD will be co-industrial sponsor.

Paul is in the process of forming an organizing committee.
