a) All JSM proceedings will be electronic (CD) in â01; QPRC â01 proceedings can be included, voluntarily by QPRC presenters

b) QPRC papers will also be placed on QPRC website

c) Newsletter ö benefits of going to electronic ($2K savings, reduce publication delays caused by ASA).Ê Propose going to electronic by end of â02.

d) Will be announced in June newsletter for members to submit e-mail addresses [did this happen?]

e) Talk with SPES to gain consensus on going to electronic newsletter format (when, how) ö (Fred, Eric)

3) Long range plan for website/webmastering

a) Research reliability/space availability for Q&P website (currently on UT server) on ASA server ö report back at August meeting (Ramone)

b) Check officers page for your info/picture (all officers)

a) Review of SPM2000 minutes/strategic plan

i) Put on Tactical planning mtg agenda the action items regarding short courses (advertising and potential future audiences) (Fred)

ii) Put on Tactical planning mtg agenda the action item to discuss Q&P developing a std course on BB BoK (Fred)

iii) Put on Tactical planning mtg agenda the discussion of opportunities to take an active role in shaping future of statistics (Fred)

iv) Schedule joint meeting at FTC between appropriate officers of ASQ Stat division and Q&P (Geoff)

v) Eric, Fred and Chair-elect to revisit strategic plan
