Topic Contributed Panel Discussions for JSM 2003 The ENVR Section is pleased to sponsor two Topic Contributed PanelDiscussions for JSM 2003, addressing two areas of ongoing interestwithin environmental statistics. The first addresses the interplaybetween statistics and mathematical modelling in the area ofclimatology. The second addresses the role of statistics andstatisticians within the environmental regulatory and decision-makingprocess.
