Policy for Posting Announcements on ENVR website

The ENVR section wishes to encourage interaction among professionals dealing with environmental statistics. It is pleased, therefore, to maintain a portion of its website for announcements of activities by organizations other than ENVR, but related in some way to environmental statistics. An announcement must be no longer than 200 words, although there may be a link to another site with more information, and it must be accompanied by a deletion date, so that the site does not get overly cluttered with outdated messages. The announcement should be e-mailed directly the Section's Publications Chair. The Publications Chair will be the arbiter of announcements that are of questionable relevance and description.
